Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa is a popular American singer and writer. She is the daughter of songwriter Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley. The New York native Joel has taken on her parents' passion for music and fashion respectively. When she was 19 years old, she formed a music group, and performed her first live performance at Maxwell's in Hoboken New Jersey. She quickly garnered immense popularity in the next few years, and was soon one of the most exciting stars of today. Joel's first extended play Sketches was released in the year 2006. The release of this EP through Audio Bee Records helped Joel establish herself in the music business. She's since performed live at many shows and released a number of singles. Joel is a professional in the fashion industry since she was young, has also performed at a number of fashion shows. Joel was featured included on the BELLA Beauty Issue cover in 2018. Following the ingestion of a significant amount of Traumeel, she was admitted to the hospital in the month of December. The media reported that she had a complete recovery that she didn't intend to commit suicide.

Berry Gordy was shocked to be informed of this by Stevie Wonder and Berry Gord accepted Stevie Wonder's request for more autonomy and complete creative control and the right to all his songs. In 1972, Stevie Wonder returned to MoTown records and signed a 13 million dollar deal with MoTown Records. The contract entitled Stevie Wonder to a higher royalty rate as well as greater creative control and rights to his own songs, which was not a lot of artists could get during that time.
