Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance range earned her popular acclaim across many styles from period dramas to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her architect father and producer mother. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. She developed an interest in acting at an early age auditioning for commercials by age seven. To enhance her abilities, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as at the Professional Children's School. In the Off Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994) and was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995) but her debut came in Manny & Lo (1996) an upcoming film that follows siblings who are orphaned and run away. Then, she was awarded high praise from critics for her performance as the role of a teenager who been injured and resulted in her being damaged as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. She gained fame for her portrayal of Nell Jones on the CBS successful show NCIS Los Angeles. The actress is one of the principal cast members. In addition to her role in the TV series, she was also a stage actor for many years. She's given some of the most impressive shows, like in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a young girl when she started her professional career as an entertainer. While she was still a young child Smith began to take an interest in acting. Smith found her first role as an actor when she was 6 years old, thanks to her parents. She created a commercial with Dannon. She decided, like many actresses who are just starting out, to refine her abilities in the theatre. She took part in different projects within the USA in the midst of making her stage debut. She studied at an institution called the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
