Born and raised in Pennsylvania Molly started her professional career in the age of thirteen, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater in a production of The Snow Queen. After that, she portrayed Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. Molly reprised the role when Molly made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly played the role in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). The year 2008 was the time she received her B.A. from Princeton University. After that, she went to Princeton University, where she was a part of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. In this period she made her acting debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Following graduation, Molly performed in several Off-Broadway plays including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Players' performance of The Diary of Anne Frank. She played Anne. Molly's most notable role is on the set of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the 17-year-old daughter. Also, she was a part of Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written by and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual County Spelling Bee in 2008.
